WhiteSponge's "Multiplayer Online Roguelite Arena" Stellar Stars has officially launched on Steam. The game tasks players with winning matches by killing mobs to level up and gain the power needed to take down their opponents. Matches allow up to four players to duke it out on procedurally generated maps. Players can choose from a variety of characters and unlock more as they play. For those that aren't quite as interested in competitive play, there's even a story mode.

Competitive online play is driven by two-week seasons, during which players strive to reach the top of the leaderboards by earning trophies by winning matches. The system is similar to that of ELO-based rankings.

Stellar Stars is now available on Steam for $14.99. It is discounted to $13.49 for the week of release. WhiteSponge has promised that all content updates will be free, so the cost of the game is all you will need to pay in order to access all of the content the game has to offer.
