Take A Peek At New Enemy Types In The Upcoming Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Upgrade

Aside from better visuals, new gameplay mechanics, and new zones, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will also feature new enemy types that players will have to face. In addition to the FORMERS from the original game, players will also come across ALTERS and DOLLS.

ALTERS come in all shapes and sized but can easily be identified by creepy glowing eyes on their body, a trait that is shared by all ALTERS in the game. Another thing that these formidable mobs have in common is that they’re weak against fire elemental attacks. When facing ALTERS, players will also need to be wary of any nearby bosses that can buff ALTERS in the area. Players will also need to watch out for DOLLS, another new enemy type that are significantly more difficult to defeat than FORMERS and ALTERS.

Japanese players have had their chance to take on these new threats during the Japan CBT last month. Western players will get their turn when the global CBT kicks off soon.
