Take Two Interactive, the parent company of Grand Theft Auto series developer Rockstar Games, is in the process of acquiring Zynga for $12.7 billion in cash and shares. The purchase amount is being offered at a 64% premium on the Farmville creator’s closing share price on January 7th, according to the official press release.
