Temtem has just received a big update that adds a ton of new features and content to the monster-collecting MMORPG. The highlight of the patch is the new Dojo Wars feature, a new take on Club Wars that allows players to assemble a team of five players and battle it out with other Club teams for control of each island’s Club Dojos.

A tournament for each of these Dojos will be held throughout the week. The final matches will be held every Saturday with the winning Club getting access to the Dojo and all of the perks that come with it. These include Dojo Housing, which winning Clubs will be able to decorate as they please, and a Dojo Park where they’ll get access to rare Temtem.

Winning Clubs will need to defend their Dojo every week with no limit as to how many consecutive weeks they can hold a particular Dojo or how many Dojos they can hold.

The update has also opened up the previously-closed off Trade Houses scattered across the game world. Players can now enter these buildings to post Tems and items for sale, purchase or bid on listed items, or just check market prices. Taxes are applied to all listings which means that you’ll be able to list an item for 0 Pansuns but you won’t be able to do so if you don’t have the required Pansuns to list it.

Mounts have also been added to the game which offers a faster and safer way of getting around the Archipelago.

“Not only are they a huge flex, you will not run into wild Temtem encounters while on a mount, and you’ll go faster than if you were walking. You can get intercepted by NPC Tamers, and you’ll still be able to see and trigger radar encounters, but only those, which will surely make your radar experience much better. Think of how fast and efficient your postal deliveries will go, too!”

Collectible stickers, the game’s version of trading cards, have also made their way into the game. Players will be able to collect 200 brand new stickers that depict the inhabitants, legends, and myths of the Archipelago. These will go into the new Sticker Album which will grant rewards as its filled up.

Cross-progression has also been implemented on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The highly-awaited feature allows players to pick up where they left off even if they switch from one platform to another. Note that you’ll still need to purchase the game on other platforms if you haven’t done so before. More information can be found in the official release notes.

On the subject of other platforms, Developer Crema Games has launched the new Temtem Plus DLC for family-shared accounts on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. All primary accounts will automatically get the DLC for free, as well as any accounts that purchase the game in the future. The DLC will give secondary shared accounts access to unrestricted global chat, unlimited trading, and Temdeck storage of up to 600 Tems.

The DLC is designed to solve the problem of family-shared accounts being used for exploiting, trolling, and other toxic behavior.

“Secondary family-shared accounts were a natural consequence of launching on console platforms, but at the same time were a delicate issue to approach,” explained Crema. “With Temtem Plus, we offer family-shared accounts a more accessible way to enjoy the benefits everyone else gets, and also manage to patch up an issue that was affecting us economically, organizationally, and in terms of server space.”

“If you wish to continue using your family-shared account you will still be able to experience the game in full, albeit with limitations in your interactions with others,” they concluded.

Note that the Temtem Plus DLC has yet to pass Sony’s certification and won’t be available for purchase on the PS5 until May 9th. In the meantime, the team has manually granted the DLC to all main accounts. You can find out more about the new Temtem Plus DLC on the Temtem official site.
