Tencent, in cooperation with Haier and Intel, announced the Tencent TGP Box last week at CES Asia. According to MMOCulture, Haier made the hardware, Intel provided the chips, and Tencent is bringing the games. As the Box is powered by Tencent's own Tencent Games Platform, all of the launch titles will be from Tencent. Launch titles include FIFA Online 3, League of Legends, Monster Hunter Online, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Tournament. More titles from third-parties are expected later this year.

The TGP Box will run Windows 10. It will have a separate "TGP Box mode" that will allow it to download and stream games, presumably from Tencent's lineup. Buyers will have the option of a sixth generation Intel Core i3, i5, or i7.

There is no word on whether the console will be released in the West, but, given its focus on the Tencent Games Platform, I wouldn't expect it any time soon.
