The Annual Elder Scrolls Online Midyear Mayhem PvP Event Has Returned To Tamriel

It’s that time of the year again. A time when the citizens of Tamriel get together to kill each other for sport. Think of it as The Elder Scrolls Online version of The Purge. That’s right, the Midyear Mayhem PvP event is back and is now in full swing.

“Midyear Mayhem is back, and the horns of war bellow once more from Thursday, January 23 at 10:00AM EST, until Tuesday, February 4 at 10:00AM EST. During this PvP event, you can earn bonus rewards, XP, and Alliance Points by battling your fellow players in the Alliance War, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City.”

To participate in the event, simply grab the free “Details of the Midyear Mayhem” quest from the Quest Starters tab. Then, travel to your faction gate from the Alliance Menu, talk to the NPC Predicant Maera, and complete the “Midyear Mayhem” quest. If you’ve completed the quest before, you should already have the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity which you can use to get a two-hour 100% buff to XP and Alliance Points gained from killing players during PvP activities. If you happen to lose your scroll, you can buy one from Predicant Maera for either 100 gold or 100 Alliance Points.

In addition to bonus XP and Alliance Points, players also get the chance to earn special event-exclusive rewards including Legion Zero Outfit Style Pages, the Standard-Bearer emote, and the coveted Midyear Victor’s Laurel Wreath which can be acquired by completing a list of Event Achievements and earning glory on the battlefield. Players can also earn a maximum of three Event Tickets per day by completing daily PvP quests. Event Tickets can be exchanged for various rewards including the first two Indrik Berries required to evolve your Nascent Indrik into the otherworldly Spectral Indrik.
