Just when we thought that The Day Before will finally be launching next weekend, developer Fntastic has crushed our hopes once again. The Singapore-based studio has pushed back the survival horror game’s early access release again, this time to December 7th.

The good news is that it will get to keep its original title after the Intellectual Property Tribunal awarded Fntastic the trademark for The Day Before. It’s now been reinstated on Steam and is available for wishlisting once again on the digital storefront.

As a refresher, The Day Before was pulled from Steam’s digital shelves following a copyright complaint from a South Korean developer who allegedly trademarked the title for use with his calendar app years before Fntastic got around to it. Since then, the studio has been fighting the complaint tooth and nail and has finally succeeded in getting the game back on the popular platform.

The Day Before will be launching into Steam Early Access with a buy-in price of $39 throughout its early access phase. The price will be bumped up to $49 upon the game’s full release.

To lessen the sting of the delay announcement, Fntastic has released its first-ever gameplay trailer for The Day Before. The trailer highlights the key features of the upcoming game which is now being touted as a full-fledged MMO. You can check that out right down below.
