The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Officially Comes To Consoles
Elder Scrolls Online PC, Mac, and Google Stadia players have had a little over a week to explore Blackwood and take on its new challenges. Now it’s time for console players to dive in to the new chapter and experience the latest arc in the Gates of Oblivion storyline for themselves.
As you probably already known, one of the key features of Blackwood is the new Companion System that lets players traipse around Tamriel with a helpful NPC by their side. The chapter also opens the gates to the Blackwood zone that offers over 30 hours of brand new story content.
“The Daedric Prince of Destruction, Mehrunes Dagon, has dire plans for the people of Tamriel, and they begin in the lush marshlands of Blackwood. This new adventure features a complex tale of ambition and revolution that is part of the larger Gates of Oblivion year-long saga that began with the Flames of Ambition DLC in February and continues throughout all of 2021.”
Blackwood is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Console Enhanced update for next-gen consoles arrives next week if you’re looking to upgrade.
