The Elder Scrolls Online Drops Hints About Oblivion Through Mysterious Letters And Coins
Since yesterday, mysterious packages have been showing up on the doorsteps of The Elder Scrolls Online community. These packages contain a coin and a letter written by Lyranth of the war-like Daedric race called Dremora hinting at things to come in the year-long narrative set in Oblivion, Tamriel’s version of Hell
Little Mortal,
The coin included with this letter is one of three such disks that hold some significance to the Order of the Waking Flame. The cultist I acquired it from has no further need of it and it may assist us in the near future. Study the coin, for I believe there may be a clue to the cult’s activities hidden in its etched surface. In due time, I will summon you. Things are about to occur and I will require a mortal’s touch. Be ready.

The official Oblivion announcement is scheduled for January 21st. Until then, it seems like ZeniMax Online is leaving it up to the community to decipher hints about the upcoming chapter much like the Skyrim maps last year.
