The Elder Scrolls Online Waking Flame DLC And Update 31 Has Been Delayed On Consoles

Elder Scrolls Online players on consoles will have to wait a bit longer than expected for the Waking Flame DLC and Update 31 as ZeniMax Online Studios pushes back the update’s release for more polishing work.
“To ensure a smooth and stable launch, we have made the decision to move back the release date of The Elder Scrolls Online: Waking Flame and Update 31 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 to September 8,” announced the studio. “By separating our PC/Mac/Stadia and console releases by an additional week, we hope to publish a more stable build, potentially allowing us to include additional fixes before the new content goes live. This change will also help alleviate stress on some of our support teams, allowing us to better focus on each individual release.”
The Waking Flame DLC and the free base game update were initially planned for release on August 31 and, collectively, will include the new Red Petal Bastion and Dread Cellar dungeons as well as a long list of visual and technical improvements to the game. The update’s PC launch isn’t affected by the announcement and is still on track for August 23.
