The Moogle Treasure Trove Event Returns To Final Fantasy XIV On March 15

The Moogle Treasure Trove event will be returning to Final Fantasy XIV later this month bringing with it various duties from older content that will reward players with irregular tomestones upon completion. The event will run from March 15 at 1am PDT until the launch of Patch 5.5.

“In recent years, demand from collectors and historians has led to a surge of adventurers seeking tomestones, those mysterious relics of the Allagan Empire made to record and keep its secrets. Some small number of the artifacts, unique for the peculiar sort of knowledge contained within, have piqued the interest of the eccentric─in particular, itinerant moogles, who come bearing rare goods of their own to exchange for these ‘irregular’ tomestones.”

Irregular Tomestones of Esoterics can be exchanged with Itinerant Moogles for a variety of rewards, including the Namazu Earring accessory, Ultima Horns headgear, and a Tyrannosaur Horn that can be used to summon a tame Tyrannosaur. The team reminds players that tomestones will not be awarded when using the Undersized Party option.
