Titan Reach Shows Off Concept Art, Promises More Communication
It’s been a busy week for Titan Reach with Square Root Studios churning out multiple dev updates over the past few days. The latest updates from the new community manager Echo, offers a glimpse of just some of the things that the developers have been working on behind the scenes. These include new concept art, animations, character models, and other 3D assets, as well as some samples of new UI designs.
The team is also continually working on level and game design with particular focus on the game’s unfinished combat system.
“Level and game design have been happening constantly behind the scenes (due to not wanting to spoil certain things and also a lot of it not having a visual element like the 2D and 3D art does),” assured the Echo. “What I can say is that Trickzbunny has been hard at work designing combat mechanics, drop tables and lots of fancy-looking graphs. Additionally, he has been working with Sean Fox on level design and creating new areas outside of Glimmermoore.”
The rookie community manager closes the blog with the promise of regularly scheduled dev blogs and social media posts.
“From now on, dev blogs will follow a more strict and routine schedule which means that they will be happening more frequently,” he said. “As a move towards having consistent and open communication, I am going to be frequently posting on social media and providing mods with leaks for the Reddit page.”
“There will be at least one new post per week on each social platform (this has already started),” he added. “I will also be posting new leaks in the Titan Master's exclusive Discord channel with a plan of 2-3 times per week and showcasing community made videos in the media Discord channel with a plan of once per week.”
A separate blog also offers a lengthy technical explanation of the game’s database and account security. You can check that out on the Titan Reach official site if you’re in the mood for some heavy reading.
