TitanReach Will Be Free-To-Play For A Limited Time Starting August 1

If the $38 (previously $70) buy-in for early access to TitanReach is putting you off, then you might want to give the game another chance as the upcoming MMO will be going free-to-play starting next month. Don’t get your hopes up though as the game will be reverting back to its original Early Access price once Closed Alpha testing begins.

“On the 1st of August at 10 AM, Sydney time (GMT+10) the Early Access phase of development will be Free to Play! That means anyone with an account on the TitanReach website will be able to play for free until the Closed Alpha begins. This will not only open the game up to a lot more people but allows those of you who have supported us but didn’t have the financial means to play the game.”

In the lead up to the start of Closed Alpha, Square Root Studios will be selling limited-edition Closed Alpha packs that will be available in Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers. The Closed Alpha packs will be available until October 1 and will contain exclusive items that will not be available once the packs are taken off the shelves. Players who’ve purchased a Closed Alpha pack in the past will automatically be upgraded to the Bronze pack for free.
