Trove Console Versions Getting UI Improvements On Launch Day

Trove is coming to consoles for Xbox One and PS4 on March 14th. Unfortunately, there’s more to porting a game than just transferring assets. To make life easier for console players, Trove’s console launch will come with a patch that will streamline the game’s UI for console use.

The new Inventory menu will have three tabs: Adventure, Building, and Crafting. The Crafting tab will also contain three tabs: Currency, Components, and Gems. These changes will allow players to sort through their items and find the ones that they need more efficiently while also allowing them to store more items without changing the size of the menu.

The Loot Collector will also be getting an overhaul. The interface will feature a Buyback system to recover accidentally destroyed items. In addition, players will also be able to lock high value items to avoid destroying them in the first place. The new system will also allow players to collect all unlocked items with a push of a button.

Watch the Trove team talk about the launch patch after the jump, or head on over to the official site for the full patch details.
