Vainglory Adds New Lane-Only Battle Royale Mode And More In Update 1.17

Vainglory Update 1.17 went live earlier today and with it comes a brand new mode called Battle Royale. In Battle Royale, players can only fight in the lane. There is no jungling and you cannot return to your base once you've left. Furthermore, the hero you use is assigned to you at random—you may even end up with a hero that you don't own.

Various new skins have also been introduced, including Rona's Killer Bunny Skin, featuring obsidian axes that cause "chips" to fly off of whatever they hit. For the next 28 days, players will receive a Killer Bunny Rona card after the first win of each day. Once they have obtained 20, they can trade the cards in for the skin—or they can just purchase it for ICE.
