Mad Otter Games Works To Polish Villagers And Heroes’ New Interior Housing System

Earlier this month, Villagers and Heroes made waves when it finally allowed players to enter their virtual houses and deck it out to their heart’s content. But, Madd Otter Games, isn’t done just yet. As promised, the studio is working on the second part of the update which will introduce a host of new customization options and housing décor.

There’s no word on when Homestead: Part 2 will hit the live servers, but in the meantime, players can look forward to bug fixes for the new housing system along with various quality-of-life improvements thrown into the mix. Last week’s patch also increased the stack limit for housing-related crafting materials, improved frame rates for crowded areas, added a new housing section in the auction house, and introduced restrictions to prevent mounts from entering houses.

The studio also wrapped up a contest to name the housing quest NPC who’s now goes by the name Lazy Susan. The latest patch notes can be found on the Villagers and Heroes forums if you want to dive into the details.
