Vivox Voice Chat To Be Added To Elder Scrolls Online On Consoles
It was announced today via press release that Vivox voice chat will be added to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Elder Scrolls Online sometime in the near future. This addition is being made in order to allow players to more easily communicate on consoles. As for why Vivox, game director Matt Firor was quoted saying "For us, Vivox was the natural choice, given their multi-platform capabilities."

The implementation will include private, party-based voice chat, as well as proximity-based chat in the open world. All players wearing a headset will be able to communicate directly through voice chat.
No release date for the update has been announced as of yet.
