It’s only been a little over a week since Warcraft Arclight Rumble kicked off closed beta testing in Australia but Blizzard Entertainment is already hard at work to appease its currently-limited playerbase. The latest closed beta update has increased XP scaling for low level players and fixed a bug that didn’t allow some players to complete the tutorial. Gold rewards from Jin-rokh’s quest and daily quests have also been increased.

Meanwhile, reviews from players and media outlets that managed to get their hands on the new Warcraft mobile game are now coming in with the general impression being meh. Android Police described it as “annoying and unbalanced” with very grindy progression which was probably what prompted Blizzard to increase XP and Gold gains with the latest patch.

Game Reactor called the game “fine but forgettable,” while other reviewers thought it was fun to a certain degree. On the other side of the spectrum, Android Headlines thought it was “addictingly fun.” Not too many complaints about its microtransactions though, which is always a good thing.
