Bandai Namco Entertainment and Behaviour Interactive announced today that Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade is leaving Early Access later today after an eight month stay. While the switch has yet to be flipped, the game's launch build was actually deployed two days ago. Otherwise known as Patch #24, the launch build included the following: "mainly more Stuff(TM), tuning and changes of mechanisms based on feedback, improvements to systems, balancing and of course bugfixes." Some new features, such as an "advanced graphics menu," were also included.

Behaviour Digital Senior Vice President Stephen Mulroney had the following to say about the announcement.

It’s a monumental day for us to launch WARHAMMER 40,000: ETERNAL CRUSADE after over 3 years of development. Thanks to the strong support and feedback from our Founders and Early Access contributors we’re ready to share our game with everyone. But this launch is just another step on a long road of free expansions and new content for our players. The endless war for Arkhona is only just beginning!

Eternal Crusade will likely be launching on Steam at 10 AM PDT, Steam's standard release time. The price will go up after it launches, so, if you had been looking at getting the game, so be sure to grab it at the discounted Early Access price of $39.99 while you still can.
