WARMODE Removed from Steam - Possibly due to Plagiarism

WARMODE, the free to play shooter that launched on Steam on August 25, 2015, was recently taken down from the Steam store. Those who have the game installed on their Steam clients can still access the game, but new players can't find the game in the Steam store. A direct link to the game's page leads to a redirection to Steam's homepage as seen here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/391460/

A discussion on the Steam forums shows users discussion the issue. One popular theory is that the game was removed due to plagiarizing code from another title. This wouldn't be too surprising given that numerous maps in the game were based on popular maps in other games - most notably the "factory" map being a direct clone of Counter-Strike's De_dust2 map, except only the A side. Given that WARMODE shares a name with an older Half Life Mod, it's a possibility that the game stole some code from it as well.

Some players can download the game using the following steam link: steam://install/391460 (thanks user in comments!) Alternatively, some players can still download the game if they access the steam store from a cached link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:E7EA72VvMNIJ:store.steampowered.com/app/391460+&cd=1&hl=es&ct=clnk&gl=es A direct download of the game is available on Dropbox as well, as linked on the Steam forums. No word on whether the removal is temporary or permanent, as we haven't heard anything from the game's developer.
