Watch The New Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Trailer, Pre-Registrations Now Open

Niantic and WB Games have just released a new trailer for their upcoming augmented reality mobile game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The trailer features “classified incidents” of magical activity that risks exposing the secret wizarding world to the Muggle community. The game itself is inspired by the magical world that J.K. Rowling created and puts players in the shoes of new recruits of the Ministry of Magic’s Statute of Secrecy Task Force.

“In Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, each incident increasingly places the wizarding world at risk of exposure, and players must work to solve the mystery of this Calamity as new recruits of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force. Players will be able to explore their real-world neighbourhoods and cities to discover mysterious artefacts, cast spells, and encounter fantastic beasts and iconic characters along the way.”

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is scheduled to launch later this year. WB Games and Niantic have yet to announce a definite date but pre-registrations are now open on Google Play and the Galaxy Store. Check out the brand new “Calling All Wizards” trailer below.
