Wild Terra Update 8.8 Adds The Skill System

Wild Terra Update 8.8 went live the other day, bringing with it the game's skill system. Like many other sandbox MMOs before it, skills are leveled with use. Your skill level determines your success rate, the speed at which you complete a task, the stamina cost for each task, how much damage the tool you are using takes when carrying out a task, the chance you have at obtaining a rare material when gathering, and more.

The initial set of skills is Carpentry, Leatherworking, Lumbering, Skinning, and Survival. More skills, such as Creating, are currently in development.
