WildStar Free-To-Play Closed Beta Launches

You have been able to sign up for the closed beta of WildStar's free-to-play launch for a while now via the official website but just today, NCSoft and Carbine Studios sent out a press release stating that the closed beta had launched. It is currently available to all subscribers and those who have received a beta key.

A full summary of all new features for the beta can be found on the official forums. The features they are pushing in the press release include a new instance, The Alpha Sanctum, a new randomized reward system dubbed "Madame Fay's Fortune," a complete revamp of the new player experience on the Arkship, and a loyalty program that rewards players for spending money on the game, giving them points that can be used on additional gear, items, pets, mounts, etc. Bear in mind that it is being hailed as WildStar's "biggest content update yet" in addition to the free-to-play transition. There's quite a lot there and it seems like the game already has quite a few standard free-to-play systems in place.
