WildStar's To Receive Vault Of The Archon And New Tutorial On May 4th
The next major plot point in WildStar's story, The Vault of the Archon, will finally be introduced to the game world when update 1.5.1 launches on May 4th. The story of the Vault is as follows.
The Vault of the Archon is the next chapter in WildStar’s World Story. Both Dominion and Exiles are enlisted by the Caretaker to aid him in his search for the Vault of the Archon—a secret facility where the Eldan Archon, Jariel, hid his most sensitive data. But gaining access to the Vault won’t be easy!
The traverse to the Vault of the Archon is terribly cold. Your only chance of survival lies in using the eerie warmth of Bloodhearth Trees to your advantage. Additionally, several macabre mysteries are nestled within the icy crags of Varegor Pass, each with unique optional objectives all their own.
Whether or not you decide to explore the many mysteries of the pass, you must then gain entry to the Fortress of Kel Havik, an Osun edifice frozen in time, and then gain access to the priceless information secured within the Vault of the Archon itself!
The update will also include a new tutorial that is intended to "highlight some of the features that make WildStar uniquely awesome." The new tutorial will feature hoverboards and housing, among other new additions. A new "Jumpstart Pack" will also be made available in order to allow players to "jump straight to some of these features right after the new tutorial."
A new section of the in-game store called the "Signature Station" is being introduced. The section will include items and sales that are exclusive to Signature members. Some items will have time-limited Signature member exclusivity. With the launch of the Signature Station, Signature members will also receive a free lockbox key each week.
A new Welcome Window will greet you each time you log into the game. Various content will be featured there, such as "in-game events, your login rewards, [and] store updates." There will be an additional window shown each time you log out, intended to make you aware of what you can look forward to upon your next login.
