Win That War! Brings MMORTS Gameplay To Steam Early Access

It's rare that we get MMORTSes these days, which is why it's rather neat that Insane Unity included an MMORTS mode in its game Win That War! The game is an RTS that offers both single-player and traditional, small-scale multiplayer modes, but "the heart of the Win That War! experience lies in a massively multiplayer online campaign." Players will be able to take to the digital stars and compete with thousands of other players for control of the universe.

The story of Win That War! is as follows.

Year 1023 of the Galactic Era, bold explorers discover a new planetary system. The presence of extremely rare resources on these untapped stars is quickly confirmed, immediately prompting the greatest economic powers of the Galaxy to dispatch their envoys in order to take control.

Win That War! was released on Steam Early Access earlier today. It normally costs $19.99, but it is discounted to $14.99 for the week of launch. The game is expected to leave Early Access sometime this summer.
