wizard101 wizard city npc bannerWizard101 developer KingsIsle Entertainment has issued a statement assuring the community that it’s business as usual at the studio following their recent acquisition by Gamigo’s parent company, Media and Games Invest.

“First of all, let me assure you that the friendly faces that you’ve come to know and love aren’t changing and we’re full steam ahead on the next updates and laying the foundation for the year to come,” wrote Lead Producer Leah “Professor Falmea” Ruben. “We’re still here, we’re still KingsIsle, and we’re not planning on slowing down.”

As for the game itself, the developers recently rolled out a hotfix that includes several important PvP changes, including a reduction of Crit/Block impacts in PvP matches. The full patch notes can be found here.
