Wizard101 EU Players Receive Transition Keys In Preparation For Gamigo Transfer

Gameforge has taken the first step in transferring Wizard101 publishing responsibilities in Europe to Gamigo and developer KingsIsle Entertainment. The former has sent out the first batch of transition keys to all EU players via email with more keys to be rolled out in the future. Note that these keys can’t be used on the KingsIsle site just yet so make sure it doesn’t get lost in the spam or junk folders until they can be activated.

Once the website is live, EU players will be able to use the key to transfer their accounts and claim two months of subscription time as well as an exclusive mount and pet. Players who don’t have a Gameforge account but will be creating an account on the new Gamigo servers will receive a free pet upon signing-up.

The transfer was first announced during the Media and Games Invest Q4 2021 financial report earlier this month. MGI is the parent company of both Gamigo and KingsIsle.
