World Of Warcraft Classic Shakes Up Traditional Gameplay As Season Of Discovery Arrives
World of Warcraft Classic breathes new life into its vanilla gameplay with the launch of its new Season of Discovery today. The new realm offers a unique way of playing the 19-year-old MMORPG with the addition of class-altering runes scattered all across Azeroth.
“In Season of Discovery, players will discover new secrets by scouring Azeroth to find class-altering abilities,” Blizzard explains. “Tanking Warlocks, Mage healers, and more will be possible.”
The seasonal realm will initially be limited to a level cap of 25 with a new “endgame” raid awaiting those who reach the milestone. The said raid will come in the form of a 10-player version of Blackfathom Deeps dungeon, featuring a mix of new and reimagined bosses as well as updated mechanics and rewards.
Along the way, players will also encounter new quests, hidden locations, and new monsters that will undoubtedly bring new twists to the whole World of Warcraft Classic experience. You can learn more about the new Season of Discovery in the video below.
