Xsyon Gets Welcome Stations, Goes On Sale

Notorious Games announced today that their sandbox MMORPG Xsyon has received a new feature called "Welcome Stations." Any of a tribe's existing "standalone room buildings or roof parts" can be designated as a Welcome Station and they are intended for tribes to provide a "staging area" within their land. Players that enter the land can find quests, a shop, a place to leave messages, and a spot to apply for that tribe. It sounds a bit like an "Xsyon tribe visitor center."

In addition to this new update, the game is going to be 50% off for the next week on Steam and the official website. Steam's discount isn't live yet, but should be when weeklong sales switch over at the normal time. You can find more information on the patch that added this feature here.
