Ship of Heroes Overview
Ship of Heroes is a spiritual successor to City of Heroes, where players create a hero with unique powers. Align your hero with one of four class archetypes: range, melee, support, or tank, and hone a unique set of abilities that differentiates your character from other players. Players are aboard the Heroship Justice, a spaceship traveling from world to world. Players will visit mining colonies, other ships, provocative planets, and more. Choose which job you want to pursue aboard the spaceship, from Mercenary to Harvester. The job you choose will directly affect harvesting and crafting, and what opportunities are available to your character when visiting planets.
Ship of Heroes Key Features:
- Four Archetypes - align your hero with one of four archetypes: tank, support, melee, or range.
- Ship Levels - players defeat enemies on one level of the ship deck before moving onto other levels with stronger enemies.
- Hundreds of Costume Pieces - differentiate your character with a variety of unique costumes, with over 100 pieces available at launch.
- Jobs - every player aboard the Heroship Justice has a job, such as Ship Security or Mercenary.
- Robust Economy - buy and sell what you need or don't, and plant the seeds of an economic empire.

Development History / Background:
Ship of Heroes is developed and published by Heroic Games. The project was first revealed in November, 2016, but work began in May, 2016. It is an MMORPG built using Unreal Engine 4 and touts itself as one of four spiritual successor to the shut down MMORPG City of Heroes (along with Valiance Online, City of Titans, and Heroes and Villains). Ship of Heroes headed to Kickstarter on April 04, 2017 seeking $400,000. There is no announced release date for Ship of Heroes.
