Choose from four playable classes: Sharpshooter, Dusk Mage, Forged, and Railmaster. Each class features unique gameplay elements that help them stand out from the typical RPG classes. Take on swarms of aggressive enemies, elite mobs, and challenging bosses with varying attack styles, patterns, and modifiers. Equip your characters with hundreds of unique weapons and gear that can be used regardless of your chosen class. Two skill trees and the Relic skill system will also help you customize your build to fit your preferred playing style. Travel the world with an adorable pet by your side that not only help distract and attack enemies but also grant a variety of buffs. Unlock more pets by defeating powerful bosses and choose the one that benefits your chosen build. Chill out in your very own fort that you can spruce up with a variety of decorative and functional structures such as crafting equipment, pet cages, and more.

Development History / Background:

Torchlight 3 is a buy-to-play 3D medieval fantasy MMOARPG developed by Echtra Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment. The game was first announced on August 9, 2018 as Torchlight Frontiers and was initially planned to be free-to-play with microtransactions. It was renamed to Torchlight 3 in January 2020 following the studio’s decision to remove some of the games MMO-like features in favor of more linear ARPG mechanics along with a change in the game’s business model. The studio held several rounds of Alpha and Beta tests from late January to late May of 2020 before launching into Steam Early Access on June 13, 2020.
