Heroes Evolved is a free to play MOBA developed and published by R2Games - the same company behind Thunder Call, WarTune, League of Angels, Winterfrost Legacy, Nova Genesis, and many other titles. Heroes Evolved is the first MOBA from R2 and it looks oddly similar to League of Legends. In fact, it's pretty obvious that the art style and in-game assets were blatantly copied from League. Gameplay wise, Heroes Evolved plays a lot like League / Dota 2. It features 5v5 games with a large map with 3 lanes and a jungle. Several items feature stats / names VERY similar to their Dota counterparts. Even though Heroes Evolved is throughly unoriginal, the gameplay is pretty responsive and functional. The most impressive aspect of the game in my opinion is that it runs off a tiny 35 MB micro client, whereas League and Dota both require many gigabytes.
