Heroes Evolved Launches On Steam

While it's not quite the full rebuild that mobile devices got, everyone's favorite competitive money spending simulator, Heroes Evolved, is now available on Steam. The Steam version of the game allows you to download the game from Steam and log in using your Steam account, meaning that you no longer need to go through the experience of using R2Games' website, should you not want to. That being said, there are no other discernible benefits, as the game was already a miniscule ~30 MB download.

The Steam launch does, however, come with a new UI, courtesy of the game's most recent update. The game's main menu is now significantly more pleasant to look at and navigate.

Those interested can now download the game via Steam. It is important to note that your Steam account and R2Games account are separate entities; your previous progress will not carry over to the Steam version. R2Games is currently looking into "an official and easy way to switch accounts as an option," but it is noted that it will be "some time" before that becomes a reality, if at all.
