Path of Exile is a free to play isometric fantasy action RPG developed and published by New Zealand based Grinding Gear Games. Since it's launch in 2013, it quickly grew to become one of the most successful free to play Western developed MMOs. After the Fall of the Oriath expansion it shot up to 100K concurrent users on Steam alone, with many more players off-Steam. While the game is clearly inspired by Diablo 2, it also has many of its own unique elements - namely its in-depth build customization systems. Players have countless options on how to build their characters.
