Tanki X is a free to play tank based shooter that sort of plays like World of Tanks, except MUCH simpler. It's a quick pick up and play game that's reminiscent of old school flash based games. It does feature some persistent progression though, as players can use money earned through matches to upgrade their tanks. The game is by a company called AlternativaPlatform and launched into open beta in September, 2016. It's definitely no World of Tanks or Armored Warfare, but it's not trying to be. It's not my cup of tea, as it does feel too basic.
