Tanki X Launches On Steam Early Access
If you like tank battling games and haven't had enough of them yet, what with World of Tanks and Armored Warfare and War Thunder and iStorm and Final Fire, or you just want something a bit more arcade-like, maybe you'll be interested in Tanki X. Tanki X is the successor to the super-popular tank battling Flash game Tanki Online, which was originally released back in 2009. The game features simple tank-based combat that is easy to pick up and play. Players customize their tanks and then head into battle on any of nine maps in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, or Capture the Flag modes.
Tanki X launched on Steam Early Access earlier today. It is currently free-to-play and is expected to stay free-to-play after launch. Despite its popularity, its predecessor failed to find an audience on Steam, but perhaps, being far more modern, Tanki X will succeed where its predecessor failed.
