Swords ‘N Magic And Stuff Now Has A Free Multiplayer-Enabled Demo On Steam

If you’ve been on the fence about throwing money into Swords ‘N Magic and Stuff, you can now take the cozy indie voxel RPG for a quick spin with a free demo on Steam. The demo offers full access to the Castaway Island tutorial zone which should take you roughly an hour to complete. It will also feature online multiplayer between demo players to give you a feel for group-play works in the game.

If you like what you see, you can purchase the game at 50% off until May 6. You’ll also have the option to transfer your demo character over to the live game. While the developers wouldn’t recommend it, you can still copy your character at your own risk by following the instructions on the game’s official Discord channel.

Meanwhile, the live game has been updated with several new quality-of-life features and improvements including a new wardrobe feature, the ability to craft augment stones, and infinite custom loadouts. Existing loadouts, however, needed to be wiped to make way for the new feature. You can check out the full patch notes here.
