A Big Fishing Planet Update Is Almost Here

The team behind Fishing Planet announced today that a big new update is almost here. The update is currently in closed beta phases with an expected release date of "soon." The plan for this update is to "bring even more realism into your fishing experience."

While that may sound vague, an earlier announcement gives some hints as to what the update will contain. Fish fights and fish AI will see an overhaul. Leveling and balance will be worked on. A new lake, new species, and new tackle will be introduced alongside European angling techniques.
