A Quick Glimpse At Blade And Soul’s New Warlock Class
NCSoft’s has released an overview video for Blade and Soul’s upcoming Warlock class today. The short but sweet video showcases the new ranged caster class’ skills and abilities.
The developers describe the Warlock class as “Blade & Soul’s second dedicated ranged class with great power but considerable fragility. Many of their powerful abilities have significant casting times and long cooldowns, requiring one of two strategies to be employed: keep enemies at bay or incapacitated long enough to be able to cast the high damage abilities again, or reduce cooldown times through expert timing of other abilities.”
While Warlocks have the potential to deal massive damage, they also have relatively low defense which requires them to eliminate their opponents quickly and efficiently or risk defeat. Additionally, Warlocks can summon powerful Thralls from the depths of the Netherworld to temporarily assist them in battle.
Get the chance to play the Warlock class when the Unchained update goes live on March 2nd. Hopefully, watching the Warlock in action is enough to tide you over until then.
