Blade & Soul’s first major update, Rising Waters, is coming on February 10th. NCSoft gives players a glimpse of the first challenge players have to face with the update - Mushin’s Tower. A multi-level dungeon not unlike Aincrad tower in the hit anime show Sword Art Online.

Players start their adventure in the Main Hall located at the bottom of the tower where they can sort out and prepare their equipment, buy rare items, train up their skills, and even spar with their friends in the built-in arena hall. From the Main Hall there’s no other way to go but up. Players must work their way up the deadly tower, with each floor presenting a unique threat to the challengers. Players must use teamwork and an in-depth understanding of their classes’ strengths to survive the dangers of each floor, not to mention the bosses that await them at the end of every floor.

“Surviving Mushin’s Tower is no small feat, but it offers valuable treasures and knowledge for those bold enough to try. But one should never rest on their heels... reaching the seventh floor is surely only the beginning.”

The developers will also be introducing Bloodshade Harbor, a level 45 dungeon that consists of a six-player normal level, a four-player hard level, as well as a level 45 easy dungeon for 24 players called Nightshade Harbor.
