Activision Blizzard is once again in the crosshairs of another sexual harassment lawsuit as another female employee files a complaint against one of the studio’s senior staff. The latest complainant is one of eight Jane Doe’s being represented by celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom, each with their own separate lawsuits against various employees of the studio.

The accused in this particular lawsuit is a manager named Miguel Vega who’s had several sexual harassment complaints leveled against him before he was fired in 2021.

“Activision Blizzard’s failure to curb sexist and harassing conduct emboldened manager Miguel Vega to abuse, belittle and insult Ms. Doe by making comments to her about oral sex, masturbation and orgasms, threatening her job if she would not consent to sex, mocking her breasts, and commenting on other female employees’ attractiveness,” reads the new lawsuit. “Mr. Vega also repeatedly threatened to expose a compromising photo of Ms. Doe.”

The complainant is seeking to recover lost pay and damages as well as an end to the mandatory arbitration policies regarding harassment and discrimination complaints enforced by Activision Blizzard.

An Activision Blizzard has issued a statement to Polygon in response to the lawsuit, saying that, “When the plaintiff reported her concerns, we immediately opened an investigation, and Mr. Vega was terminated within 10 days. We have no tolerance for this kind of misconduct.” The spokesperson also reportedly continued to deny the allegations of rampant sexual harassment and discrimination from the original California lawsuit.
