Activision-Blizzard’s recently-concluded Q4 2020 investor call is chock-full of surprise reveals. Aside from new Warcraft mobile spin-offs, the studio is apparently working on a new premium Call of Duty game that’s scheduled to come out on PC and consoles in Q4 2021.

According to VG24/7, the studio confirmed that the upcoming title will also tie into Warzone, much like Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare. The game’s developer has yet to be revealed, but like previous Call of Duty releases, we’ll probably find out pior to the game’s official announcement.

As for the franchise itself, the studio revealed that Call of Duty played a big part in bringing in increased revenues not only in Q4 2020 but in the full 2020 fiscal year as well. Call of Duty: Warzone, Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty: Mobile all played a hand in nearly doubling the franchise’s net bookings in 2020.
