Aion's 5.3 Update Coming Soon, Features A 384 Player PvE Instance

Aion's 5.3 update is slated as "coming soon," and it features a evenly, but oddly enough, PvE instance for 384 players. Now that's a specifically large-scale number. I wonder how it was picked.

In the next update players will queue up for the Arena of Tenacity: where factions challenge each other in gladiatorial duels, cheering crowds included. A matching system will ensure players of equal stature face off against one another. Fight your way to the top so you can flex your biceps for everyone.

New equipment also waits, earned by collecting Spinel Medals from various activities, which will then be exchanged for Archdaeva Abyss equipment, as shown in the banner image above.

Estima will also be a new item that expands player's Essence Points to further their builds, and can be enchanted up to +10.

Finally, there will be a Artisan Bestiary: a book players fill out by collecting monster portraits. Collecting the portraits unlock rewards, though we don't know exactly what yet.

Aion 5.3 does not have a release date just yet but if I had to guess, "coming soon" means we'll learn more sometime next month.
