Part 3 of the Sandsea Update, dubbed Valley of the Undying King, is now live in AdventureQuest 3D, bringing with it new Sandsea region quests that will lead you and your friends on a journey across the barren desert where you’ll get to ride (and protect) Squint’s Sandskiff and get to meet Sekt the Undying Pharaoh.

“Getting to see Sekt isn’t that easy. Sergeant LeCosta doesn’t care what General Gaspar says, so you have to prove yourself to him now. Encounter new monsters and explore the area around Sekt’s Temple as you run the necessary tasks to finally get your foot in Sekt’s door. There are also four new checkpoints throughout the valley, each located at a major destination.

No spoilers, but Sekt is not a pharaoh to mess with. Stand your ground against his personal guards and he will consider your request for help in finding the magic lamp. Of course, being granted a favor by Lord Sekt comes with strings. He wants you to deal with his Zhoomer problem first.”

The level cap has also been raised to level 35 so that all the EXP you earned during the adventure won’t go to waste. The new Item Infusion system also allow you to upgrade endgame item stats using Inert Runes, Capstones, and gold.

On top of that, there’s also a new dedicated healer class for those who prefer support roles. While it’s entirely possible to play the new healer class solo, the developers recommend playing with a group or at least in areas with other players around just in case. Other support classes have also been improved to make the more balanced and play better in various situations.
