Albion Online Will Officially Launch on July 17th

I was honestly beginning to think that this day would never come. Albion Online's been adrift in the Beta seas for over a year now, but at last, land is in sight. Sandbox Interactive announced today that Albion Online will be officially launching on July 17th. Unfortunately, it still won't be going back to a free-to-play business model, but at that time, the team will "no longer wipe the servers" and Albion Online's history will begin being written.

Before that, the Galahad update will be going live on March 13th. The Beta server will be taken down on March 10th and will be offline until the update goes live. A server wipe will occur during this time. Legendary Founders will be given access the moment the update goes live, whereas Epic Founders will have to wait until March 14th and Veteran Founders will have to wait until March 15th.

As a small addendum, the press release states that Albion Online has sold "more than 200,000" Founder's Packs to date.
