Amazon Partners With Disruptive Games To Publish Its Untitled AAA Multiplayer Game

Amazon Game Studios continues to grow its publishing portfolio as it enters a publishing deal with American indie studio, Disruptive Games. The studio is currently working on a AAA UE5-powered multiplayer action adventure game based on an original IP and has been designed with both cooperative and competitive gameplay in mind.

“The studio is focused on multiplayer-first gaming experiences that immerse players in living worlds,” said Amazon in the official press release. “Amazon Games also has multiple unannounced projects in development, both at its internal studios and with other external developers including Glowmade, an independent studio based in Guildford, England.”

The press release doesn’t outright say whether the “super secret project” is an MMO but we’ll find out soon enough as Amazon begins its usual hype build up.

Disruptive Games is a California-based independent development studio made up of industry veterans and was founded by former Insomniac Games Multiplayer Lead Eric Ellis.
