Anthem Game Director Jonathan Warner has left BioWare one month after EA decided to cancel Anthem Next, a proposed reboot of the original game. Warner broke the news on Twitter last Friday saying that he was “moving on to do new things.”

Warner worked with BioWare for 10 years and, aside from his role as Game Director, also served as the company’s Chief of Staff from 2019 until his departure. The industry veteran also played a big role in the development of Mass Effect 3.

He assured fans that the Dragon Age and Mass Effect IPs, as well as Star Wars: The Old Republic, “are in good hands.”
