Apex Legends Season 2 ‘Battle Charge’ Is Now In Full Swing

apex legends leviathan kings canyonThe Repulsor Tower has been destroyed and Kings Canyon has just been overrun with wild beasts and Leviathans as Apex Legends Season 2 kicks off today. Season 2 “Battle Charge” marks the start of Ranked Leagues where players can test out their skills against other players and gain recognition while earning Rewards along the way.

"After a shadowy figure brought down the Repulsor Tower, the Apex Games were forced to shut down for a brief period. During that time, the lack of the Repulsor Tower allowed beasts to once again take their natural place in Kings Canyon, and in doing so brought with them a level of destruction that has left certain areas of the map unrecognizable. Crews setup base camps and worked around the clock to repair the map, also taking this time to add new features to the arena, while the lack of Legends have allowed certain areas of Kings Canyon to stabilize and grow."

Season 2 also introduces a shocking new Legend, Natalie “Wattson” Paquette. Wattson is the daughter of the Game’s lead electrical engineer and fights using electricity to her advantage. She can destroy incoming missiles, recharge shields, create electrifying fences to protect her allies, and construct pylons to silence fights.

The massive update also comes with fun new Daily and Weekly Challenges, exclusive emotes, and new skins. The Battle Pass is also back with more than 100 levels of new and exclusive content to unlock. There’s also a new weapon to look forward to – the highly-anticipated L-Star LMG.

Season 2 is now available on Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
