Arcane Is A Smash Hit On Netflix, Riot Celebrates With Mega Event In All Games

Riot GamesLeague of Legends-inspired animated series, Arcane, has had a very successful opening week on Netflix, which is probably to be expected of an adaptation of one of the world’s most popular MOBAs. To celebrate the show’s success, Riot Games with Arcane Crossover events across all of its games, including Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends Wild Rift, and the original game.

“RiotX Arcane is our way of saying thank you to our players for helping to shape our IP alongside us over the years, and to our new viewers and players for continuing to push us forward, bringing the worlds you love to life. In honor of each and every one of you, we wanted to create an experience that sees our games, esports, and IP experiences collide. These are the worlds of Riot like you've never seen them before, so jump in and explore, celebrate, and earn some sweet loot while you're at it.”

The event comes with its own microsite and minigame where players can explore a map inspired by Riot’s games, talk with various NPCs, and complete missions to earn in-game rewards. Rewards change every couple of days so make sure to check regularly for new missions. You can also check the Arcane X page for the schedule of events.

Aside from RiotX Arcane, the team is also running other cross-promotional events which saw the arrival of Jinx in Fortnite and the start of the Progress Days event. Riot also teased a partnership with PUBG Mobile coming in the near future.

And if that’s not a big enough celebration for you, Riot will also be hosting several Arcane live events this month in cooperation with London-based entertainment specialists Secret Cinema.
