ArcheAge Challenges Players To An Obstacle Race In Its Anhimar Sporty Day Event
Everyday is a great day to run in ArcheAge this month as the fantasy MMORPG kicks off its Anhimar Sporty Day event. During the event, players will be able to queue up for the Ahnimar Sporty Day Challenge dungeon once per day where they’ll go up against 15 other players in an obstacle-laden footrace to win event currency.
While inside the instance, players will have their movement speed increased by 30% and will also gain access to the “Run!” skill which will temporarily boost their speed by an additional 50% for two seconds. The instance will be a combination of four out of eight random courses, each with their own unique mechanics and mini-games.
“Nothing keeps you at the top of your game like a good challenge. This dungeon will put you to the test with different mini-games! Progress through the four stages to collect coins and redeem them for prizes.”
Players will be rewarded with varying amounts of coin depending on what spot they finish the race in. These coins can then be exchanged for various rewards, including a panda bathtub, from the event vendor. The Anhimar Sporty Day event will run until February 2nd up until the maintenance downtime.
In other ArcheAge news, Kakao Games has removed an annoying chair from the Austera Faction Base that often caused players to accidentally take a seat when interacting with the Warehouse Manager NPC Balaru.
Players can also expect new content unlocks for the Gene and Melisara servers, easier conditions for unlocking the Stone of Gods and Heroes achievement, and a new location for the “A Lost Jar” quest, along with several bug fixes. Details can be found in the full patch notes here.
